I credit long hours in my childhood, with an Etch a Sketch®, for influencing how my drawing style has developed. I thought it would be fun, and a challenge, to do this exhibit as a testimony to my ill-spent youth. As a child and as an adult, visits to friends' houses would see me listening to conversations, and sitting in a corner drawing the scene. I love drawing people, whenever and wherever, and have been known to draw on napkins when there's no paper, or an Etch A Sketch®, if there's one around. For years, friends have urged me to make this "skill" public. Technical credit to my partner, Bill Higgins. |
