Q: Do I need to be an "artist" to participate?

A: No, everyone is welcome. It does not matter if you are a beginner, advanced or a seasoned artist. Basic Inquiry is the perfect location for anyone to practice figure drawing and painting at reasonable rates.

 

Q: Do I need to become a member?

A: No, you can just pay a drop-in fee and come as often as you like. If you find that Basic Inquiry is what suits you, you might want to become a member to take advantage of the various member advantages (discounts, the possibility to show your work in a solo or group show, etc).

 

Q: What do I need to bring to a session?

A: Basic Inquiry provides easels, drawing boards, drawing horses, news print and paper clips. All you need to bring are pens, art paper, pencils, brushes, paint or whatever medium you prefer to work in.
